Yeah, sometimes books just slip one's mind, no matter how good the first one in a series was. I totally get having a lot of books to get through, I've got far too many at home already and still I go get more at the library 😆

Darn, it's so frustrating when the print is too small (I have terrible eyesight)! And yeah, that sounds like a web novel to stay away from if children in peril isn't for you.

Area X is definitely in the horror category of books. It's just "horror yet not" to me because we get to see how some people embrace the change Area X brings and how that might not actually be "bad" for them - but that's just my personal experience of the series. Aaand I'm a huge horror fan, so I think I've gotten to the point of saturation where I'm kinda blind to how horrific some stories truly are 😅 I've been informed by reliable sources that I'm terrible at telling if a piece of media is scary or not 😆
