Allowing myself to have a good time

I made the Yuletide sign up deadline after all, with a letter and everything! Go me! :D Just got my assignment and I feel confident I can write something for it that I hope my recipient will enjoy :)

I've still got a ton of work to do, buuuuut I'm not behind on any of it - I'm just not ahead of work as I usually am, so I've decided to try and let that be okay. I don't need to constantly be ahead of things. I can just work my assigned hours. It will be fine (I say through gritted teeth XD)

Relaxing is sort of working already, which feels great :) I've managed to both be a Good Godmother (had my oldest godchild and her mother over for video game time yesterday - yes, I have more than one godchild, no I'm not the least bit religious, I apparently just attract godchild offers ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ), catch up on a let's play I've been meaning to watch for...years(?), and am finally stress-free enough to be able to enjoy some reading.
