First HP Fanfic (HBP SPOILERS!)

Up late (or perhaps early, whichever you prefer). I've still not quite decided if I hate/love or just love the ending of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. All I know is that I have to have something to occupy myself with at the moment and now I'm posting my first HP-fic ever to be seen on the Net (not first one written though).

For those who still haven't read the sixth Harry Potter book: SPOILER ALERT! If you don't want to know what happens by reading a fic or other wayward comments I advice you to read no further here and go get the book!

Pairings: Ron/Hermione, implied Tonks/Remus, implied Sirius/Remus, might become Severus/Remus and Ginny/Harry but I'm still doubtful of that, the story might as well take a completely different turn.
Warnings: Half-Blood Prince Spoilers are going to appear everywhere, beware! In later chapters: violence, death, Death Eaters at their worst and perhaps some sexual situations. Each chapter will have an "updated" warning if I have to add some warnings later on.
Summary: The shadow war lead by Voldemort is slowly moving towards its peak. Remus Lupin, Severus Snape and Harry Potter each have their own goals and will stop at nothing to finally reach them. In the end, who is on whose side?
Word count: 238 (Short I know, but it's the _prologue_)
