NaNo - How to sway them - First scenes

I've been so caught up with trying to keep pace with my NaNo story that I haven't had the time to comment anywhere for a few days. Sorry about that! I'm very much looking forward to having the time to read the beginning parts of my Writing Buddies' stories, as well as other friends' journal entries.

But that won't happen until Sunday at the earliest (unless I write at breakneck speed tomorrow), seeing as I'm at least 5 000 words behind schedule.

That doesn't mean I have nothing though, and I'm getting more and more excited about How to sway them the more I write, so I'm not quitting!

Seeing as people have started putting up first drafts of their stories, I thought I'd do the same.

Decided to un-f-lock this, as well as update and add a few scenes.
