Today's questions:

Which authors or books have inspired your own writing the most, and why?

Uhm, all of them? I honestly don't think I've ever ready a story that I haven't learned something from, when it comes to my own writing. This goes for books that I've liked and those I've disliked equally.

If you could meet one fictional character from any book you’ve ever read, who would it be, and why?

Nyargh, so hard to choose! Only getting to pick from books narrows it down a bit, but still...

Seeing as I'm currently rereading Witches Abroad by Terry Pratchett, maybe I'll go with Granny Weatherwax. She's an awesome witch; I'm going to be just like her when I grow up!

With about 10 days left to this arguably traumatic experience, what are your plans and goals for your novel, should you successfully complete it?

I'm planning on posting it online somewhere; maybe here, maybe as an ebook. We'll see. But what I'll definitely do, once it's edited and proofread a few times, is to print one physical copy of it. Just so I can have one book that's actually written by me in my bookshelf. [livejournal.com profile] chibiangle has promised to draw the cover :D

But that's far away. My never-ending-novel, as I've come to call it, what with it being over 100k long and there still being 26 scenes left to finish ;_; I doubt it'll be done come July, even if I without a doubt will pass the 50k limit (I'm currently at 43k).
