Well, I'm bloody tired. In a good way though. Working hard on uni-work that got finished today (had two days of presentations that in total last five hours/day *is dead*), so finally have some free time. Though technically free time starts Sunday, as I have a moving in party to prepare for tomorrow :)
Anyways...
Gifts I made for Yuletide 2010:
Title: Under
Pairing: implied F/M and M/M
Word Count: 2 998
Rating/Warnings: G
Fandom: A Study in Emerald
Notes: Betad by the wonderful
onidoko!
Summary: A look into the life of Mary Morstan, in the year of Her Majesty 1883.
Disclaimer: Sherlock Holmes is Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's. A Study in Emerald is Neil Gaiman's. This is merely a fanfic, not meant to make money or pretend I own anything.
(Under)
---------------
Title: Sometimes You Should Listen to the Romans
Pairing: Astrid/Hiccup, but only because it's canon
Word Count: 683
Rating/Warnings: G
Fandom: How To Train Your Dragon
Notes: Not beta'd! This is all very last-minute-inspiration-writing.
Summary: All rumours that the Romans make up aren't lies. Honestly!
Disclaimer: How to Train Your Dragon does not belong to me. At all. This merely a fanfic and I make no money off of it.

But yeah, HTTYD was just so uplifting to watch - especially the flying scenes - while still remaining grounded enough, so I don't really have the urge to darken it up (for once), so if I managed to get another fic down in Open Office expect more dragon awesomeness and wonderful culture clashes between Vikings and outsiders!

Haha, indeed I did ~ it's over at my writing journal, here: In Effigy (http://laxusfolium.livejournal.com/4466.html)
One of my friends summed it up best, I think, when she said that HTTYD achieved that feeling of wonder that we tend to lose as adults -- that so many other children's movies try to achieve, but fall drastically short of. I adore that film. ♥

I've been surfing the web for years trying to find good Swat Kats fic (there's some, but most of it is smut or about subjects that aren't my cup of tea) and if you write something I will read the hell out of it!
...please? I'm not above begging! Just look at my icon.
And yeah, HTTYD is truly wonderful in the words most literal meaning! And yay, fic-link! Will read it as soon as I've been to the store and taken all the garbage out (we had a moving in party yesterday, which was tons of fun, but now we have bottles and empty bags of chips left behind by ~20 people).

Anyway, I still owe you fic from forever ago; maybe I'll just write you Swat Kats fic instead. XD And we shall rejoice in being the only two people to read it, hooray!
