nonesensedI do what I can to stay up to date on all the awful things happening out in the world, so I can do what I can (e.g. donate to decent organizations and vote/protest when needed), buuuuut the news right now are just...
Yeah.
Doomscrolling helps no one. I'm going to try and focus on more light-hearted things here online. Just wanted to leave this comment for myself to read one day when I'm going through my archives, so I remember I didn't completely ignore the world - only wanted the occasional break from worrying about things I've already tried to help out with as much as a single person who isn't a high-up politician and/or billionaire can :/
I've been going through my writing projects and have several ones I'm still very hyped to keep working on <3 Will try and make posts about each project in the upcoming...days? Weeks? We'll see what work allows (work has, as I'm sure has come across in my previous latest entries, been A Lot). Would really love to get the brain power to actually work on some writing before this weekend is over - I really miss writing!
Saw an interesting horror/dark-fantasy movie the other day, btw. A Dark Song, about a woman attempting an extreme ritual to talk to her guardian angel. It had a very "Neil Gaiman's Sandman" feel to it.
Also, moving my "to watch, maybe"-list here from the year goal list, since watching isn't so much a "completion" thing as it's an "for fun,whenever" thing:
