nonesensedI'm being dramatic but I think I deserve to be XD
My goal for this summer is to finish writing A Werewolf in October, so that's what I've mainly been writing on for Camp NaNoWriMo this month. At the start of July, the story was missing its 11th and 12th chapter. I have managed to write the full drafts of chapter 11 and 12. So what's the problem?
...the book now has 13 chapters.
Other than that writing frustration, I've gotten a few other things done! I'm not the most skilled when it comes to crafts, but I'm trying to do my part to spruce up one of my cosplays :D My sister is the genius who gets our cosplays looking excellent, but I do like to contribute at least a little, so I've painted some masks of NPCs from Critical Role to hang on the belt of my "Matthew Mercer-as-blindfolded-DM"-look cosplay and feel pretty proud of myself :)
In slightly less cheery but equally accomplished news, I've now listened to all songs by The Mechanisms. I've got one filmed performance still to watch, so it's not the complete "end", but it still feels bittersweet. I've got Blood and Whiskey on repeat right now, both because it's catchy and because I am enjoying listening to a rare three-way-love-song that's an OT3 instead of a love triangle <3<3<3

Wonderful cosplay idea :D
That reminded me that I both rarely envision faces and also missed a lot of CR recently: I recognized none of the faces, with the exception of most-likely-Gilmore.
I forgot this is where the line "we're not pure of heart but we're sure of aim" comes from! Oh no now I am tempted to listen to all Mechs albums again... one day.

And thank you! My sister makes an excellent Victor XD She's working on a neat mechanical hand for him as I write this <3 You guessed Gilmore right :) The NPCs (updated here) are meant to be, from left to right in the new picture with tape and cardboard:
- top row: Allura & Viktor from campaign 1/cr 1
- middle row: Gilmore, Xandis (cr 3), Cree (cr 2), Ishir (cr 3), the Bright Queen (cr 2)
- lower row: Essek (cr 2)
The masks are very generic, partly due to lack of prep time, but mostly because I too rarely actually visualize characters XD
The Mechs have so many good lines in their lyrics! I suspect I'll be nominating at least one of their albums for Yuleide this year, having arrived 10 years later to the fandom, sans Starbucks XD
