Good start to the week!

And a good weekend before it 😁 Had a mini-party + planning session with my LARP group, am slowly making my way through New Game+ of Alan Wake II - I'm getting ALL the collectibles, I'm too stubborn not too -, got truly started on a new fanfic (surprise surprise, it's one of the Alan Wake II/Remedyverse ones), read wonderful fanfic made by other people, got done with all the work I had to get done today, aaaand spent a few hours catching up with a dear friend over the phone and several others over chat 💖

I'm waaaay too caught up in planning and writing this fanfic though 😆 Very torn between finishing New Game+ of Alan Wake II so I know all the canon that's available and just writing fanfic about the characters partially ill-informed. We'll see which wolf wins out in the end~

The mini-essay about why I love Remedyverse will have to wait for another day. Hopefully I'll get home on time tomorrow *knocks on wood*

💖 Yeah, writing canon-blind can be a delight - though for this particular fandom I am very keen on mirroring the plot clues we get in canon in my fics 'cause it's that kind of canon. I've stuck to working on an AU fic for now, so I don't irk myself with my lack of Absolute Canon Knowledge 😆

I love fandoms with plot clues!! They end up being so much fun, especially with how we can change them up :D
AUs are always a great way for us to get familiar with writing characters and setting before we jump into the Big Canon things. Good luck with your writing <3

Oh yeah, I am a huge fan of writing AUs since it gives you so much freedom with plot and so many fun challenges when it comes to figuring out how canon personalities would overlap with the AU setting 😄
