I think I MADE IT!!!

I'm not burned out (more than usual)! I worked so much overtime this week I'm now officially on vacation, even though it's only 1 pm :D

Okay, so the overworking part was dumb, but I really didn't want to be stuck late at the clinic today sooooo I worked late Tuesday & Wednesday and skipped lunch on Thursday, to make sure I could work from home today.

((I still felt guilty about activating my out-of-office autoreply on my work e-mail and turning my phone off at lunch, but I've got to Stop That 'cause no one benefits from me running myself ragged. Gotta remember that I worked 120% during June - the world will keep spinning even if I take vacation "half a day early", especially as I finished & signed all my patients' journals yesterday and mailed out my final report (...at least I think they're called reports in English - we've had long debates at work on what to translate "utlåtande" to re: all the evaluations we do in English; sources are divided XD).))

Work rambling aside, boy has this been a rough couple of months! I'm sure I'm not alone in finding the last 4-5 months hellish; we've all either lost work, been locked up, been forced to go to work despite The Plague, had to work overtime, etc etc. And it's not over yet. BUT summer is here! I hope everyone gets to enjoy yourselves as much as possible, even if you're in quarantine or have to work <3 I'm spending three more days here in the south of Sweden, then going up north to visit my parents FOR THE FIRST TIME IN 6 MONTHS!!!

TLDR: VACATION TIME! HOPE EVERYONE IS DOING AS WELL AS POSSIBLE RIGHT NOW!

Plus, because I'm hopelessly addicted to lists, here's a little to-do list for myself until I go north on Monday:

Friday
[x] Watch Critical Role EP 100!!!
[x] Write a book review on Goodreads
[x] Read at least one of The Adventures of the Jin Dui stories and comment - need to catch up so I can start joining in the writing!

Saturday
[x] Clean whole apartment
[x] Reply to comments on AO3
[x] Play some Hollow Knight
[x] Visit oldest godchild's family for fika at 2 pm
[x] Write something

Sunday
[x] Answer friend on Tumblr
[x] Finish packing (remember coffee & sister's stuff!)
[x] Laundry at 10 am
[x] D&D online at 8 pm

Yay! You made it!! I love that feeling of getting work done early and being able to head off - I procrastinate so much that it's rare.

It is the _best_ feeling! And I tend to procrastinate too, since all my energy goes to "work" work, so other projects and, yanno, laundry and such tends to be left to pile up :/ But now I have hope! Going to spend time with the family too, of course, but am also aiming to get some writing done.

Sweden is pretty neat :) If you're ever in this neck of the woods, you're absolutely welcome to swing by should you feel like it! Hope you're also having a good summer :D
