D&D tonight~!
DM:ed my "art group" Saturday (they've all survived the ruins! ...for now *evil DM laugh*) and tonight it's my "in too deep group"! I'm going to get to drop plot twists that I've been sitting on for three years and I AM EXCITED! :DDDD
Oh, and I binged WandaVision yesterday to force my brain to take a break from being productive (burnout looming). Pretty faithful to the comics in some ways and had many good parts. Enjoyable!

The main thing I revealed last session is that one of their first allies (a human druid and lower-tire politician) Tirfun Kopparsköld has a curse placed on him that turns him into a mindless falcon whenever he tries to talk of Certain Secret Things. The party saw this happen to him waaaaay back during their very first "adventure" together as a group - they saved a small village controlled by devils - but they assumed he'd wild shaped to not have to talk to them, thus losing faith in him as an ally. They did notice that he stayed in "wild shape" crazy long, but assumed he had some sort of extra special magic on his side and didn't investigate further since there were a huge amount of guards around his house after they all got back to town.
Since Tirfun is the younger brother of one of the main villains of the campaign (Senator Sanso Kopparsköld), and since Tirfun has had this curse on him since he was 12, the party are pretty convinced that this is important (which is); especially as Tirfun's manservant Vorth, the party's mentor figure in trying to solve the main campaign plot - a demonic ritual that they're marked as sacrifices for - has been shown to have a lot of altered memories because of Sanso + Tirfun & Sanson's grandad (since the Kopparsköld line secretly have some sun elves in their family tree and in this world sun elves were blessed by Pelor with mind-altering magic that can mess with memories) that needs the blood of a Kopparsköld to be fixed, things sure are coming together~!
Basically, this campaign is full of mysteries that I've been piling up for years and I'm so happy to finally see my web of lies and deception come together <3 They're about to find out a lot more about Pelor's part in what's going on and That One God everyone (even the gods) have forgotten about, and I am hyped :D
