Trying to decide what fandoms to nominate for yuletide_admin / yuletide but my brain is still kinda fried.

Anyone else nominating fandoms this year? Any specific ones you're looking forward to nominating?

I nominated Eerie (surprising no one), Eerie: the other dimension, Sky High (recently did a rewatch and realized I wanted fic, lol), and the Fear Street movies (they are still eligible!!)

And then I got sad that I only get 4 nominations, lol

I sure do have the space! I've thus far only come up with three fandoms, and nominations are closing soon, so I'd like not to leave a perfectly good nomination space empty.

Not familiar with Veritas: the Quest, but if you tell me how to format the nomination title and if you want any specific characters nominated, I'll get right on that (tomorrow, it's almost 10 pm here and I need to be up at 5 am 😅)

The canonical tag is "Veritas: The Quest". Character-wise I'm leaning Solomon Zond, Nikko Zond, Vincent Siminou, and Hayley Cayce

Veritas: The Quest has now been officially nominated! For some reason AO3 couldn't find the fandom when I searched for it yesterday, but today it worked perfectly fine. Except that it seems the spelling of Hayley's name is rather debated 😆 I put my faith in the fact that you are familiar with the fandom and any spelling debates there might be ongoing, so I've nominated the character as you spelled the name 😊

I only realized there was some sort of debate when the name wouldn't autocomplete on AO3 when I nominated. It seems IMBD has 2 spellings of the name and I saw at least three on AO3 when I went looking 😆

It sure is a bit of a mystery, but the Yuletide admins have accepted the spelling you went with, so I'm sure that's the actual correct one 😊

Choosing Yuletide fandoms is such a tricky thing at times! I had a book series I wanted to nominated, only to this week find out, completely on accident, that I actually hadn't finished the series yet 😅 Best of luck choosing your fourth one!

A Wicked Voice and Oke of Okehurst, both in the book "Hauntings" by Vernon Lee.

Both feature eerie ghosts and hate-love that wanting to destroy what you're obsessed/in love with.
