NaNo Meme - Day 8 & 9

List your current, most up-to-date word count. Are you satisfied with your progress thus far?
The exact numbers as of this minute are 24 365 words. Almost half way and it's hardly been more than a week; you bet I'm satisfied!
Have you told anyone else you’re doing NaNo this year? Who? What was their reaction?
I've told pretty much everyone I know well enough. The reactions have varied from "cool, have fun!" to "are you sure that's a good idea...?"; the latter mostly because they know I tend to want to do a million fun things all at once and then get frustrated when nothing gets done XD
